OZ Maritime’s journey began in 1990, when our founder first stepped into the marine safety industry. After years of experience and dedication, the foundations of OZ Maritime were laid in 2005, and the company officially began operations in 2012 with its first fully equipped service facility in Tuzla, Istanbul.
Following comprehensive audits, OZ Maritime was approved by all IACS member classification societies for both LSA and FFE services between 2012 and 2014. This milestone established our company as one of the most trusted and certified marine safety service providers in Türkiye.
In 2018, to meet increasing demand and enhance regional coverage, a second service station was established in Iskenderun, serving the Mersin and Iskenderun region with 24/7 availability. The Iskenderun station also received full class approvals and continues to provide local service and supply support for vessels operating in southern Turkish ports.
By 2023, with over a thousand vessels serviced annually and growing international demand, OZ Maritime expanded into Europe by establishing its headquarters in the Netherlands.
